Laurens County Jail Staff Corrections Division

Our facility has 37 Officers who work full and part time.
There are 2 Full time Medical Personnel,1 Secretary and 1 Maintenance Supervisor and 1 Training Officer.

The facility opened in April of 1991 with 224 Beds.
Our facility now has a capacity of 270 beds with an average of 260 people.

 

We are inspected 3 times a year by the Federal Government and  
Regularly by the State for Health and Foods Service.
Also by the State Fire Marshall.
