The Patrol Division works 12-hour shifts. They patrol and provide professional law enforcement services for approximately 825 square miles of Laurens County. Within the 825 square miles of the County are approximately 1,570 miles of roads. The services they provide include, crime prevention, traffic control, maintaining order, apprehending offenders, responding to emergency (E-911) calls, non emergency calls for service, and the needs of Laurens County's citizens, business owners and visitors.
The Laurens County Patrol Division prides it self on improving the security of persons, homes and businesses, and educating each to protect themselves. Even with the growth of Laurens County, the Patrol Division still sets the standards for other agencies to follow, which is second to none.
