The Patrol Division works 12-hour shifts; Deputies patrol and provide professional law enforcement services for approximately 825 square miles of Laurens County. With approximately 1,570.44 miles of roads. And with services consisting of crime prevention, traffic control, maintaining order, investigating crimes, apprehending offenders, responding to emergency (E911) and non-emergency calls for service, and the needs of Laurens County's citizens and business owners.

The Laurens County Patrol Division prides itself on improving the security of persons, homes, and businesses and educating each to protect themselves. Even with the rapid growth of Laurens County, the Patrol Division still sets the standards for other agencies to follow, which is second to none.
