A Tribute to Our Veterans |
Thank You Brandy, for
putting down the words that most of us have in our hearts but can't put them down on
Paper. |
" A Tribute to Veterans "
You don't know my name,
But you fought for me just the same;
Your death I may never mourn,
Though you saved me before I was born,
Though we may never meet, you and I,
For me, you were willing to die;
In the vast land of freedom I did grow,
Simply because of the compassion
you chose to show;
Had it not been for you,
I wouldn't have had the chance;
To say what I feel, and when I feel, to dance;
Though your name I may never know,
Because you are a veteran, you are my hero !
